Come visit Focus on the Masters during the Westside ArtWalk July 23 and 24 at the Erle Stanley Gardner Building and stay for our Arts Education Benefit Auction, Sunday evening, July 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy fine art, wine, great food, music and auction items while helping to build a better future for our youth through the arts! An extensive exhibition will highlight FOTM’s rare collection of documentation and objects from the Focus on the Masters artists’ archives. The exhibition will include photographs from FOTM Founder Donna Granata’s FOTM Portrait Series, publications, a video installation and museum-quality artwork rarely seen in a venue such as this. Refreshments provided by Aloha Steakhouse! All proceeds benefit FOTM Arts Education Programs.
The weekend culminates in an Arts Auction and After Party on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Erle Stanley Gardner Building which will be transformed into a lively gathering of art supporters dedicated to arts education. The exhibition and auction highlights include original work by John Nava, Horace Bristol, Gary Lang, Joseph Piasentin, Gerd Koch, Michael Davis, Michael Rohde, Roland Reiss, Sylvia Torres, Christine Brennan, Cassandra C. Jones and Cheryl Ann Thomas – to name just a few! In addition to the live auction, Silent Auction items including gift certificates and unique gift baskets will be available.
The ArtWalk and Preview Exhibition are free. A modest ticket price of $10 for FOTM Members, $15 for non-member permits participation in the auction and After Party where guests will enjoy refreshments courtesy of Aloha Steakhouse. All proceeds benefit FOTM’s Arts Education Programs. This is the place to be during and after the ArtWalk!
Opportunity drawing tickets can be purchased for a chance to win Tom Joad Chopping Wood, a signed photograph by Horace Bristol from his Grapes of Wrath Series. Tickets are available at our office, 505 Poli St., Ste. 405, Ventura, in person or by phone, (805) 653-2501 and the weekend of the event, at the Erle Stanley Gardner Building. Drawing tickets are priced at $5 each or three for $10.
Help us spread the word about Ventura County’s greatest treasure – our artists!
